All-American Ram Sires Winners at
Western Frontier Sale for
Gunnell/Koopman Club Lambs

(Colorado 7/15) The "RRack 'Em Up" ram purchased by Gunnell/Koopman Club Lambs in Idaho sired their Reserve Champion Market Lamb and the 2nd Place Crossbred Yearling Ewe at the 2007 Western Frontier Sale.  These full siblings were strong contenders for the Gunnell/Koopman consignment and show the potency of this "Extra RR" son.

"RRack 'Em Up" is a triplet born ram from our 2005 lamb crop and has been the lead stud ram for Gunnell/Koopman the last two lambing seasons and has produced several winners.

Across Idaho the following wins have been won by "RRack 'Em Up" lambs.

Grand Champion 2006 Twin Falls County 4-H/FFA Show
Grand Champion 2006 Blaine County 4-H/FFA Show
Reserve Champion 2006 Magic Valley Classic
Multiple Class-Winners at these 2006 shows and:
Elmore County Fair
Idaho Junior Classic
Elmore Sheep Classic

If you are looking for winning genetics and strong maternal traits in your next ram, call or e-mail All-American Lambs.  We not only have the triplet brother to "RRack 'Em Up" available, but also several other stud ram prospects sired by such leading rams as "Benchmark".  Packages of bred ewes will also be available this fall.  These are keeper ewes that have continued to perform in our flock and are bred to outstanding rams -- mostly to "Extra RR" the sire of "RRack 'Em Up".

Congratulations Gunnell/Koopman!

70 Hancock Hampshire Ewes and a "Leverage" Son Bolster All-American Flock

(Kansas 6/21) The opportunity of a lifetime to own a large number of proven brood ewes from the leading flock of Mike Hancock was presented to All-American Lambs in June of 2007.  Fifty-one (51) brood ewes and 19 ewe lambs for a total of 70 ewes and an outstanding "Leverage" sired ram out of a "Barron" ewe joined the All-American Program at the end of June.

The ewes in this group represent some of the most outstanding genetics available anywhere as can be seen by the lambs they have produced.  Dams of studs being used by leading programs; wethers that have placed at the top of the largest sheep shows in the U.S.; and ewes that were part of the foundation for the Hancock Hampshire flock.  We are looking forward to the lambs from these ewes and our existing ewe base sired by the "IRRoNN" ram along with the new "Leverage" son.

For those who have not had the opportunity to visit with Mike Hancock, we encourage you to do so.  His knowledge and implementation of breeding programs and the insight into the future of the club lamb industry are outstanding and will continue to result in leading edge sheep that are in demand.

The Hancock Hampshire flock will be producing tremendous lambs from the outstanding ewes they maintain in their brood ewe flock and with the tremendous set of ewe lambs they have retained.  We are blessed to be able to call Mike Hancock and Larry Carter friends.  We will be returning in the future to look for the next step in our breeding program and appreciate the faith they put in us to do good things with these top tier ewes in our program.

Look for future updates with more information on the ewes in this amazing group.  You will want to see these lambs next year.  As one leading producer has already commented, "This purchase does not put you in business two years from now; you're in the business next year!"

Thank You Again!

Quality Displayed in the February Issue of the Banner Sheep Magazine Featuring Club Lambs

(Missouri 1/25) "Benchmark", "IRRoNN", and two "Benchmark" lambs are being featured on the front cover of the February issue of the Banner Sheep Magazine.

There are not many national sheep magazines left that focus on the seedstock and showring sides of the sheep industry.  The Banner Sheep Magazine is a tremendous publication that provides a forum to promote sheep production.  When we want to promote our product, we must find the most cost-effective alternatives available.

While we focus our www.greatlambs.com website to provide up-to-date information on a timely basis, reaching a broader audience requires some creative use of our marketing/advertising budget.  We utilize the "Banner" to accomplish part of that marketing objective to build awareness of our product.  In this case, our product is outstanding sheep sired by some of the top rams available in the club lamb portion of the sheep industry.

You can see a smaller version of the front cover for the February issue to the right.  Click on the image for a larger image.

"Benchmark" wethers have won multiple classes in Texas shows and we are looking forward to wins from "IRRoNN" lambs in 2007.  The front cover of the Banner Sheep Magazine was a great place to highlight our plans for 2007.  Click the image above to see a larger image of the front cover.  Better yet, visit with us about how we utilize the Banner in our marketing plans -- it's a great magazine for sheep enthusiasts!

"Benchmark" Lambs Win Multiple Classes at the Texas Collin County Fair

(Texas 1/23) Pictures of one of the class winners at the Collin County, Texas Show are here.  The wether at right is one of two class winners sired by "Benchmark" that Kelsey Folk showed at her home county fair.  This lamb was also the Champion Medium Wool Lamb at the Collin County Jackpot show in December.

Kelsey had a great day for showmanship as well winning her division.  It has been enjoyable working with Kelsey and her family and we look forward to seeing her continued success.

It takes a lot of hard work and determination to put an honest lamb in the ring that can win and the Kelsey Folk has shown great leadership and set an example for the effort and great care she has shown in her project.

On to the majors!

Congratulations Kelsey!

"Benchmark" wethers have won multiple classes in Texas shows.  This lamb was Champion Medium Wool at the Collin County Jackpot and was a class winner at the Collin County Fair.

Denton Texas Jackpot Brings More Wins!

(Texas 12/16) Kelsey Folk had more good news for us regarding our lambs in Texas.  A dark hided "Trailblazer" wether won his class and was the only natural color in the buckle ring at Denton.  We had two more second places in that part of the show.  In the points ring we had multiple lambs in the top three again.

We look forward to hearing more good reports from the lambs in the Lone Star State!

Congratulations Kelsey!

Champion Suffolk Market Lamb T&D Meats Show in Wellston

(Oklahoma 12/9) Reports of wins from our lambs in Texas and Oklahoma continue to arrive. Nikki Schuth of Colbert, OK won Champion Suffolk Market Lamb at the T&D Meats Show in Wellston with a "Benchmark" sired wether.

We want to thank all of those who had a part in Nikki getting this lamb, especially Larry Carter who has been such a great friend and supporter of our efforts. We wish him all the best back in Kentucky.

Congratulations Nikki!

Champion Medium Wool Collin County Texas Jackpot!

(Texas 12/9) We were glad to hear that Kelsey Folk was having a great time showing her wethers from All‑American Lambs this year.  It was wonderful to hear that she won her first buckle down in Texas with one of the "Benchmark" lambs she purchased from us that was Champion Medium Wool at the Collin County Jackpot.  This lamb was first in class with the second place lamb another one that Kelsey picked up from us sired by "Trailblazer" (a "Trailboss" son also in our stud pen).  Yet a third lamb Kelsey purchased from us was second place in another class.

Lambs sired by "Benchmark" and "Trailblazer" have been making their presence known at the upper end of the final lineups where Kelsey has shown in Texas.

Kelsey is now standing in 2nd in the TCLA points race in the Region 4 Intermediate Lamb category.

A strong showing indeed.

Congratulations Kelsey!
