"Progress through Pedigree and Performance"

Moving Forward with our Dominant Rams and Ewes

Focusing on quality with
"BENCHMARK"

and "IRRoNN"!

See a sample of our show lambs from the 2006 Missouri State Fair

This lightweight natural colored class winner at the 2004 Missouri State Fair was sired by "Extra RR".  This lamb went on to be named Grand Champion Market Lamb at the 2005 Atoka County, Oklahoma Spring Show.  His full brother is a fantastic white-pelted stud ram with which we have had great success -- and will be using heavily this fall.

A "Benchmark" son bred to a group of our ewes this past year produced a set of wethers that sold quite quickly going to Texas and Arizona.  Come see the lineup in 2007 from our powerful stud ram battery.

Check out our selection in 2007 for lambs that have

the muscle and structure to move forward

in the show ring and in your breeding program!

"IRRoNN"

Simpson "6019"

Sire: "Icon"

("Trademark" x 277)

Dam:  "Trendsetter" Daughter

(Dam of 2004 TCLA Fall Classic Grand Champion - Both Days)

Birthdate: January 2006

DNA:  RRNN

"IRRoNN" has an exceptional "up-fronted" profile with a clean chest floor, level-square hip, big loin, and that special look that so many want in their Hampshire-influenced lambs. Add in the genetic power he brings as the Full Brother to the lamb that won Grand Champion at both days of the 2004 TCLA Fall Classic and as a tight breeding package tracing through "Icon" to "Trademark" and you have a stud ram candidate worth every mention!

Combining the tremendous profile and exceptional loin in this "Trademark" grandson with the daughters of "Benchmark" (our "Trademark" son) and with our big racked "Extra RR" lines, should allow us to produce those special lambs that are extremely complete with the muscle and pattern that is a must to compete in the major shows.

Jason Simpson described "IRRoNN's" mother as one of the "doesn't miss" ewes.  This "Trendsetter" ("Train" x Cabaniss) daughter dammed the lamb that was Grand Champion both days of the 2004 TCLA Fall Classic when she was bred to "Icon" before.

"IRRoNN's" sire - "Icon" - sired the dam of the $38,500 high-selling Reserve Supreme Champion Wether Sire at the 2006 Midwest Stud Ram Sale - Wether Sire Classic.  That high-selling ram was sired by "Template" -- another "Trademark" son.  Lining up to the "Trademark" ram was our goal with purchasing "IRRoNN" this spring - it looks that much better of a choice now!

Stop in next year to see if you need to move into the

"IRRoNN" Age!

"IRRoNN"

We purchased "IRRoNN" this spring for his genetic potential in our flock with that cool look with a great deal of muscle and that square hip.  The genetic combination of the "Trademark" line through "Benchmark" with our "Extra RR" sheep has been impressive.  "IRRoNN" provides us with an opportunity to infuse another shot of the "Trademark" ram with a tremendous loin/hip/leg combination in a tremendous profiling package.

"Benchmark"

"Benchmark" -- the original sire that has sparked such tremendous interest around the nation!  Siring lambs that have won at major shows and sons and daughters that have impacted programs by enabling them to produce tremendous lambs in the future.

Consider the pedigree and performance of this tremendous sire.

GENETICS

This Allred/Elliott ram is a "Trademark" son out of a top "Broker" daughter.  These rams each were sired by Hancock's "31" ram and dammed by excellent "411" daughters.  These genetics have proven themselves time and time again in show rings and the breeding pens.

PHENOTYPE

Wide flat loin, huge hip, chisel-fronted with a super "cool" look.  These are descriptions of "Benchmark" that have gone forward and are true today of this 2001 model ram.

"Benchmark" is a large framed ram and can put that extra shot of size and scale in your lambs while enhancing their structure and eye appeal.

PERFORMANCE

"Benchmark" lambs have won championships at local, regional, and larger state fairs.  Several club lamb producers have found "Benchmark" sired rams and ewes to be tremendous assets in their breeding programs.

"Benchmark"
"Trademark" x "Broker"
("31" x "411)       ("31" x "411)
The incredible wedge-shape and massive hip in "Benchmark" places him in an elite category with few other rams.  The frame size and scale he brings to the table along with the design and loin shapes to his lambs is truly unique.

"Benchmark" continues to sire winners at competitive shows.  In 2005 this ram sired another champion in Texas.  This ram has made positive contributions to several leading flocks where his presence will provide a strong forward momentum for years to come.

When looking to evaluate the performance or quality you can use a standard or benchmark with which to compare.  In the club lamb industry, you can use "Benchmark" as a standard with which to compare your lambs.  Move forward to excellence with "Benchmark"!

For years we have used some of the most progressive sires available in the club lamb industry.  "Benchmark" will continue that tradition in a positive move forward.

"G05-02"
RRNN

”G05-02” is sired by the great "Extra RR" ram we have used heavily since 2004. “Extra RR” is our stud ram sired by "Extreme Heat" and dammed by a "Buzzsaw" x "Genesis" ewe.  "Extreme Heat" was sired by "Intense" (the $23,500 Supreme Champion Wether Sire at the 2001 Midwest Stud Ram Sale) and dammed by Cabaniss 449 (Dam of the 2000 Louisville NAILE Reserve Champion Market Lamb).

”G05-02” is a tremendous stud that sired a number of our late spring lambs in 2006 and has earned himself a prominent place in our stud ram lineup. This large framed extremely well-patterned and muscled ram is the full brother to the Lightweight Natural Colored Class Winner at the 2004 Missouri State Fair 4-H Market Lamb Show and the Grand Champion Market Lamb at the 2005 Atoka County Spring Show in Oklahoma.

"G05-02" lambs have tremendous shape over the top with good legs.  They are impressive to view and to handle.

We are excited to show you the lambs from all of our outstanding stud rams next year!

Examine the results of our breeding program yourself to see if you should be using some of these leading genetics in your operation.

This "Extra RR" sired lamb weighed 95 lbs. on August 12 when 2004 Missouri State Fair Market Lamb Show Judge Mickey Burns said, "This wether has a bright future ahead of him...(he) will be a winning lamb in later shows."  After winning his lightweight class at the Missouri State Fair, he went on to be named the Grand Champion Market Lamb at the 2005 Atoka County Spring Show in Oklahoma!

We will be using the white pelted 2005 model full brother to the Atoka County Spring Show Grand Champion.  This line has made outstanding lambs in our flock and they can provide you tremendous opportunities to produce heavy muscled lambs that have the style and balance to make forward progress in your flock.

For over a decade we have been using some of the most progressive rams we could find to build our ewe base and produce outstanding market lambs.  Following up the "Slack-9143", "Buzzsaw", and "Trailboss" lines with tremendous stud power such as "Benchmark", "Extra RR", "IRRoNN", and “G05-02” has allowed us to produce great lambs from some of the most powerful ewes in the country.

We will continue to make progress through pedigree and performance!
