"Progress through Pedigree and Performance"
Lambs by Dominating Sire Lines:
"Benchmark" and "Extra RR"
|
The later born wethers are very wide across their loins and have big hips. We are looking forward to seeing these wethers as they grow. We sheared this wether July 3 to get a picture while these Late April and May born lambs were at the beginning stages of being weaned. The 100+ degree days in the Midwest signaled our time to move these lambs from their mamas to the feedlot. We only expect these lambs to get better as they get accustomed to eating grains instead of nursing their mothers. Thanks to all of our buyers this spring/summer at the farm. We look forward to hearing of your wins throughout this year and into next!

Those big legs and wide hips -- they are real! The strong tops with muscle definition and volume -- we like them too. Contact us to see if these guys and their brothers and sisters can work to help strengthen your show string!

We try to breed great show lambs for our buyers. This means that we wether ram lambs that others would leave as rams while they attempt to maximize their dollar volume of sales. This year, we wanted to increase the number of lambs we had available for those looking for lambs to hit the shows at the turn of 2007. It was a pleasure to see our late April and May babies hit the ground running! We used an outstanding "Extra RR" son that was the full brother to the 2005 Atoka County Oklahoma Spring Show Grand Champion Market Lamb for most of our late show lambs. These late lambs are still young, just leaving their mamas, and growing quickly. Contact us to see some outstanding wethers and top ewe lambs! |

This wether was one that caught our attention running across the pasture. He carried his head up high and really had an impressive handle over his top and down his leg once we caught him.

| This wether was sired by an outstanding "Benchmark" son and has a great top with a full rack leading back to a smooth firm handle carrying deep through his leg. We are looking forward to seeing this lamb compete in the late fall/winter shows! |
