Site:               Rudin Club Lambs

What's the attraction?: This site just came on the www.clublambpage.com site recently.  Gene and Phyllis Rudin are great people to know in this business.  Their sheep have started gaining wide acceptance lately and they deserve the attention.  I was over at Rudins this past June picking up a ewe we had purchased.  When I saw one little April ewe lamb I thought "That's a sheep I would like to own!"  Clean pattern, excellent handle, and enough muscle to keep most judges happy.  She turned out to be the Res. Supreme Champion Wether Dam at the 2000 Top of the Rockies!

First impression and what we now notice:    The Res. Supreme Champion Wetherdam I mentioned above turned out to be only one of the several class winners that Rudins took out to Longmont this year.  The twin to the ewe we purchased from Rudins turned out to be the February Class Winner and the 2nd High Selling Ewe of the Day at $2,000!  Turn over to their site and you can also see their ewe lamb that won the March Class at the Rockies also.  What a day!

Gene and Phyllis called us to let us know how their sheep did at the Rockies.  Not to brag (which I'd say they had a right to be extremely happy), but to share with us information on how well our ewe's sister did.  Customer service after the sale is a big selling point for sheep too!  We enjoyed working with Rudins so much that we went back to the Iowa State Fair Wether Sire and Dam Show and Sale and purchased the twin to Rudins' Res. Supreme Wether Dam at the Rockies!

The Rudin ewes are a big favorite at ALL-AMERICAN LAMBS.  Check out their site to see sisters of our ewes and then swing back to our stud ewe page to see the twin sisters we bought.  I think you'll agree that volume, muscle, and clean patterns are the rule with Rudin Club Lambs.

UPDATE: The Rudin sheep indeed performed for us for years. The "Bandsaw" line we used was from one of the original Rudin ewes.
