Ewe Lambs

The ewes on this page represent the top daughters of our powerful stud rams in 2002.  Because we expanded our ewe flock this past year, we did not have many ewe lambs to offer.  The expansion provides us greater opportunity to bring select ewe lambs into the offering.

Our sale breeding ewe lambs will test with at least one R allele.

"AAL-2001P"
"Band-Saw" x AAL
"Slack-9143"
(Triplet)

"AAL-2001P" is a tremendous ewe sired by our dark-pelted "Buzzsaw" son -- "Band-Saw".  "Band-Saw" was the pick of many out of the 2001 lamb crop sired by "Buzzsaw".  As the first lamb sired by "Band-Saw", "AAL-2001P" shows us the style and incredible top that we hoped for in "Band-Saw" lambs.

We are anticipating a large number of top quality ewe lambs to be available in 2002.  Check our ewe lambs, they win in both the market and breeding classes!

"AAL-2001P" is long-bodied and extended with tremendous muscle shape and volume.  She is also very smooth through her shoulder.

"AAL-2030G"
"Band-Saw" x Harrell & Rhoads
January 29, 2002

"AAL-2030G" is a daughter of "Band-Saw" and is a strong contender for her extension, smooth lines, and muscle.  Her dam has given us a winner every time out that is consistently one of the prettiest lambs in the barn -- "AAL-2030G" is in that category!

"AAL-2030G" is a thick-ended ewe with the style to compete at the big shows.  Her dark color will please many, and there are plenty of tremendous white pelted lambs to choose from as well.

"AAL-2004W"
"Slack-9143" x AAL
"Slack-9143"

"AAL-2004W" has the top and profile that make anyone take notice.  This ewe has a the uniform depth of body, big top and leg, and length to put her at the top of many lists.  Her sire, "Slack-9143" sired the First Place Class 2 Market Lamb at the 2000 Missouri State Fair.  "AAL-2004W" has the "dinner-plate" rump structure that her sire displays so well.

"AAL-2004W" is a ewe that excels in muscle dimension and yet has the profile and style to be the complete package!

"AAL-2002W" is a solid ewe with a long smooth front and ample muscle.  This ewe has the profile and structure to be competitive.

This ewe is lined up genetically with "Slack-9143" -- sire of the First Place Class 2 Market Lamb at the 2000 Missouri State Fair.  She is the type of ewe that has the genetic potential to show off in the ring and the lambing barn.

"AAL-2042G"
"Buzzsaw" x "Kilowatt"

"AAL-2042G" is a clean patterned ewe that is long and extended in her makeup.

We have a number of tall-fronted and long-sided ewe lambs this year that should be competitive during the summer shows in either market or breeding classes.

We will not sell any breeding stock that are not at least RQ carrying the resistance allele against Scrapie.

"AAL-2042G" is a powerful ewe with a fantastic profile and enough thickness to compete.  "Buzzsaw" sires complete sheep with the ability to combine muscle and style into a single package!
"AAL-2004G"

(Hampshire)
January 14, 2002 Twin

"AAL-2004G" is a solid ewe from every angle.  This ewe is tall-fronted and long, with a tremendous leg and top.

"Genesis" was slated to be Brad Dale's lead ram to the Corp I Sale in 1999, before Nichols purchased him privately.  He is sired by Garvie's "Warrior" ram and this line has crossed well with "Buzzsaw".

"AAL-2005G"
"Buzzsaw" x "Genesis"
(Hampshire)
January 14, 2002 Twin

"AAL-2005G" is the competitive sister with "AAL-2004G".  Finding the set of twins that are as good as these two is a pleasure.

"AAL-2005G" is a long-sided ewe with the muscle and style to be competitive this summer and lay down a good foundation for future generations of market sheep.

The maternal line represented here has worked with with our "Buzzsaw" influence.  "AAL-2005G" could very well be your opportunity to add a strong "Buzzsaw" genetic package.

"Slack-9143"
January 26, 2002

"AAL-2017G" is a stylish ewe that brings a square, full rump and leg to the package.  She is upfronted and extended throughout.
