"Progress through Pedigree and Performance"

2008 Lambs

8002

A good example of the quality wethers we have available now!

This lamb is out of our "Leverage" son and a Hancock ewe from our recent purchase.  He has a fantastic clean front, big top and a massive leg.  8002 has the potential to make a name for himself at one of the Majors!

8014

8014 is a very rugged individual with a lot of muscle mass through the leg, a big rack and top and a sure square set with a clean front.  He could be a large framed lamb and if you look at his uniform lines and the clean chest floor you can get a picture of just how special this guy is.

We have a handful of other ram lambs up here at the farm that we could wether as well.  Some that will undoubtedly shear out to be outstanding lambs.  The late lambs are special as well.

We would love to show you these lambs.

2008 Lambs
Time to Look at the Crop

If you want muscle, correct pattern, style, outstanding genetics in a ram candidate or in your wether; now is the time to call us to view the lambs we have available.

January - March lambs are available now for you to consider.  Yes, the lambs are later this year.  Yes, they are growing fast and coming on strong.  We have lambs born through May for the fall and winter shows.

Limiting to 5 Ram Lambs
for Sale from 2008 Lamb Crop

We want to send out the wethers to win strong shows.  To do so requires wethers, not rams.  While we have several lambs that you might want to see as a ram in your breeding program, we are sticking to our original plan to offer at most 5 ram lambs for sale in 2008.  If you want one, you will want to call now before we wether them.

Check out 8035, 8025, 8015, 8014, and 8024.  Those would be our initial thoughts for ram lambs but there may well be stronger candidates with the tremendous ewes that have lambed from late March on though May.

Lambs such as 8035 that is a 1/2 brother to the dam of the 3rd place lamb from Houston in 2007 behind the Grand and Reserve.  Dams such as the ewe that produced a past Reserve Champion at Fort Worth that Hancock sold.  This is the quality in the lambs we have available now.
