"Progress through Pedigree and Performance"
2006 Missouri State Fair Lambs
|
Y06-22 Sire: "Benchmark"
This "Benchmark" ewe is long sided with a great deal of muscle down her top and through her rump and leg. She is clean fronted with a wonderful stride to go along with her large frame.
Vince McGolden said on the microphone that this ewe should produce a nice lamb next year after commenting on her advantages in frame, muscle, and bone. We are indeed looking forward to breeding this and our other keeper "Benchmark" daughters to "IRRoNN" for Spring 2007 lambs. This should be exciting!

G06-01
Sire: "Extra RR" Birthdate: February 2006
We have developed a reputation for producing heavy muscled sheep that have the handle and style to move forward. They are thick ended and have excellent style about them. G06-01 is an "Extra RR" daughter that continues that tradition.
This special ewe lamb stood second in her market class at the 2006 Missouri State Fair. We have appreciated G06-01 for her outstanding muscle pattern - especially her rack and leg. This ewe has brood ewe potential with great volume of body and rib.
We started with functional sheep and progressively bred them to be show ring quality while maintaining their practicality as meat animals. After more than a decade of using some of the top genetics available (and multiple rams that were the "talk of the industry"), we have excellent lambs to provide you that are backed by some of the most outstanding genetics available. The wethers grow and are meaty, the ewes are productive and sound, the rams are complete and vigorous.
Check out our selection in 2007 for lambs that have the muscle and structure to move forward in the show ring and in your breeding program!
